I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! From the very beginning, the owner, Sue, was easy to communicate with and provided excellent recommendations for things to see in town. The rooms were impeccably clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the city center, making it easy to explore the historic center of town and also to venture out and discover southern Normandy. The breakfast options were delicious, and Sue went above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I needed. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home.

However, there were a few positive aspects to my stay. the location of the hotel was great, with easy access to nearby attractions and villages. It was also conveniently located for those travelling to and from the ferry port, which saved a lot of time. Additionally, the owner was very friendly and provided helpful information about the town and surrounding area. It was nice to have a host who was willing to chat and share their knowledge and experiences.

There were a couple of things that I didn't particularly like about my stay at this hotel. the room was quite small and cramped, making it a bit uncomfortable to move around.

The breakfast was so abundant, I felt like I could skip lunch! The free WiFi saved me from my terrible boredom. And the property was conveniently located near the airport, in case I wanted a quick escape.

I just loved everything so much, I can't even come up with a sarcastic comment!

The room at Maison De Berry was cozy and comfortable, with a private bathroom equipped with a refreshing shower. I loved how the room had a kettle so I could enjoy a hot cup of tea whenever I wanted. The soft bed linen provided a great night's sleep, and the towels in every room were a nice touch.

Personally, I found the lack of a hairdryer in the room as a minor inconvenience. But hey, it's just my opinion!

Susan even accommodated our bikes overnight in the hall, ensuring their safety. The location was very convenient for walking into the town center, and Villedieu was a beautiful town. We wished we had stayed longer.

I recently stayed at Maison De Berry for a few nights while exploring southern Normandy and it was perfect for my needs. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the historic center of Villedieu. The room was well-equipped with a comfortable bed and a modern en suite. Sue, our host, was exceptional and made us feel like family. Her attention to detail, including a delicious breakfast, was outstanding. I highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a cozy and welcoming place to stay.
